Dentures are a replacement for missing teeth. Missing teeth may be the result of sporting injuries, decay, gum disease or neglect. Aside from aesthetic reasons, dentures will restore the function of your teeth and jaw such as chewing and speaking.

Dentures typically consist of a base that sits over the gum and bone. This is usually hidden away so you can't see it and is either made of plastic acrylic or metal. Porcelain or acrylic teeth and gums are attached to the base to create a natural appearance. Dentures are removable, easy to clean and are a good option to replace a full or partial set of teeth.
